I am trying to find out the name of the husband of Jane Cantrell, born 16 Nov 1836 in Smithville, Dekalb, TN, and died 1873 in Haleyville, Marion, AL.

She is the oldest daughter of Madison Atkins Cantrell and Ellander Cantrell. Madison is the youngest child of John Cantrell and Mary Adkins.

I somewhere picked up the info that her husband was John Stembridge. But, I am not finding good info to support that. He did have a wife named Jane, but I can't be sure it is the same Jane.

I have seen elsewhere that her husband may have been named William Goodson. Again, I don't have anything to support that.

      Does anyone have anything helpful?

      Thanks for any help!
