was quite the snappy dresser in his retirement years and a lot of fun to be around. As a child I remembered the happy times spent with his family in Detroit. I called them "Uncle Perry & Aunt Margie". I didn't know until much later in my youth that "Uncle" Perry was actually first-cousin to my grandfather, another "Perry Green Byars".
This photo was taken at his granddaughter's wedding and sent by his oldest son, Joe Brook Byars, 20 Mar 2014.
