Parents: William Morrison Hemphill and Beulah Christina "Boots" Hennessee.
Bill had returned home from Frye Hospital, Hickory, N. C., Apr 19, 2002 (to die).
Honor Guard, Co. Sheriff's Dept., City Police Dept., and U. S. Army participated in funeral service. Bill served in U. S. Army, Europe, during WW 2 under Gen. Geo. Patton. Bronze Star, other medals, affiliated with Burke Co. Sheriff's Dept.beginning 1975.
