OBITUARY OF MOSES B. CLEMENTS
Moses B. Clements, 80, retired employee of the L&N railroad, died yesterday following a stroke at his home, 208 Elberta St.
Funeral services will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Ellis and Kidd Funeral Home, 2627 Nolensville Road. T. Coy Porter and the Rev. Pickens Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
Mr. Clements worked in the railway yards for 53 years before retiring six years ago.
A native of Davidson county, he attended public schools. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Peal Clements, Nashville; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Mitchell, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. W. E. Morton, Nashville; four sons, Floyd, Chester J., Kelly M. and S. B. Clements, all of Nashville; a sister, Mrs. Sallie Dale, Nashville; two brothers, Mack and Tom Clements, both of Nashville, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. [1]
