MRS. MCWHORTER FUNERAL TODAY
Funeral for Mrs. W. E. McWhorter, 81, of 1509 Orange, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories. Dr. Elwin Skiles, pastor of First Baptist Church, and Dr. C. A. Long, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church, will officiate.
Graveside rites will be held in cisco at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Jessie Cassle, Cisco pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery there beside the grave of her husband.
Mrs. McWhorter, Cisco resident from 1906 until 1951, died Thursday afternoon from a heart attack.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cisco.
Survivors include four daughters, a son, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Lloyd Marlow, Vernon Marlow, Ronald Marlow, Gerald Smith, Alex Westbrook and John McWhorter.
