      Note: William was eldest son and heir and at his death held the Manor of Great Tew in Oxfordshire 'of the Prior of Bradenstoke'. He is commemorated by a window in the Great Tew church. He is identified 'High Sheriff of Berks. and Oxon., 1464' in pedigree in 'The Rainsford Family,' Emily A. Buckland (Worcester: Phillips & Probert, Ltd., 1932-33), p. 40.
