      I believe your George C. is probably the son of Asa Swindell - and a sister to Mary DePriest to also lived in Newton Co.
      My husband descends from Cason Swindell a brother to Asa. They left White Co., TN - lived in Morgan-Moniteau Co., MO - then traveled to Cape Girardeau/Bollinger Co., MO.
      George Sr. and Asa returned to Montiteau Co., not sure about Cason. I have more on these families if you'd like it.
