- McMinnville resident and Warren County native J.D. Hennessee, age 72, was born May 1, 1935 and died March 29, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of General Motors and a member of the Church of God, he was the son of the late Arcie and Icie L. Nunley Hennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Hennessee Sizemore, Ruby Hennessee Simons and Judy Hennessee Hester and two brothers, Jim and Billy Hennessee.
He is survived by three sisters, Maxine Hennessee McCrary of Smyrna, TN, Helen Hennessee Drake of Detroit, MI and Frances Hennessee Hale of McMinnville and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory. [2]
