Does anyone have any info on this man? He is the son of Wm Wright b. 1760 and ? Collier. I believe he may have been born in Rockingham Co. but don't know if its Va or NC. He married Martha "Patsy" Cox ca 1808 and died ca 1815 from a wound received in the War of 1812, as I was told. James and Martha had three children, Elizabeth (Bettie); Barzillia; and James Jr. All were born in Va. to my knowledge. Martha was said to have been full blood Cherokee, and possibly used the surname Goodman. Both she and James were b ca 1785-90. I have all of my family back to the UK traced except for information on these two. They were married by a JP in what was Richmond City, but the court house burned and I have no idea how to tie these two together. Any help will be greatly appreciated. My line so far goes back through William Wright of the ship "The Fortune", in 1621. Will be happy to share any info that I have in return. Also would like to locate picture of his son James Jr and his wife Elenor "Nellie" Hutson. Have some other pictures, including portraits of James and Martha. Thank you in advance.
Kathy
