      Darrell and Penny: You have sparked my interest in Killis Pennington.Do you have any additional dates/places to share besides he was from White Co., TN?? Richard Pennington (1752-1813) and wife Hannah Boone Pennington (1746 - 1828)went from Barren/Monroe Co., KY with their son Joshua and his wife Mary "Polly" Gist Pennington to White Co., TN near Sparta in 1811. Joshua received a land grant near Doyle, a surburb area near Sparta.There is a Bethlehem Cemetery at Doyle now where Mary "Polly" Gist Pennington is buried, as well as her son Granderson Pennington and his daughter, Elizabeth and her husband John Swindell. Here is an outline of Joshua's descendants, but I do not have a Killis posted. However, I feel he may have been a descendant, and ask you to review this. Please get back to me afterwards. JOshua remarried after Mary's death, and moved to Warren Co., TN. Texas1933@aol.com
