    • Was Jesse her second marriage?

Denton's Station -- This settlement was established by Thomas and Sarah Denton as early as 1776 on the waters of Shawnee Run, Mercer County, Kentucky.

The land actually belonged to Diana Denton, widow of John Denton who had been killed by Indians. [4]
