Mr. Newton was born April 15, 1934 in Rutherford, NC., a son of Marvin William Newton and Alice Louvenia Hennessee Newton. He was retired as owner/operator of Billy Newton Automotive.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn N. Morris and husband Billy of Woodbine, GA; and Laura D. Newton of North Charleston SC; four sisters - Frances Boltz of Richmond, VA., Doris Pellegrini of Summerville, SC., Betty Lovingood of Huger, SC., Sherry Veith of Navarre Beach, FL; four grandchildren - Derek L. Canady of Charleston, SC., Travis N. Canady of N. Charleston, SC., Kelsey B. Morris and Blaine N. Morris both of Woodbine, GA. [3]
