"Bettie Greene Hennessee, 95, succumbed to an extented illness Saturday at Crestwood Nursing Home in Manchester.
A Native of Grundy County, she was the daughter of the late Pat and Mary Lytle Greene and the widow of first, Levi Morton and later the late W.T.Hennessee.
Mrs. Hennessee was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Funeral services were held yesterday at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Beechkam officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Howard Morton; three daughters, Mary Long, Marjorie Hood and Myrtle Holland; one brother, George Greene of Beersheba Springs; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
McMinnville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
