A difficult problem. I've seen the posts by Esther Womack on the Condrey forum on this couple, and checked them against my records, but with no certainty.
First, I doubt she was born in Hyde Co. I think Esther says she was married there. So far as I can tell, there were no Condry families recorded in Hyde Co. in any census until 1810. My earliest record in Hyde is the estate settlement of Richard Condry in 1806. You may have seen that; I posted the transcript on the Condra surname forum 2 Jan 2001, #112.
The widow of Richard is Sarah, listed in the 1810 census of Hyde. The other Condrys, James and John, in the estate records, are not listed in the census of Hyde.
However, there are a number of Condrys in adjoining Beaufort Co. dating from at least 1781, as shown in this record:
US GenWeb Archives, 11/2/99
Beaufort County Militia, 1781
NC Division of Archives and History, Raleigh, NC. Contributed by Lida A. Overton and transcribed by Elizabeth Ross "A List of the Several Divisions of Affective Men in the Beaufort Ragiment of Militia Made the 20th of April 1781
No. 3
John Condry George Condry
Returned by William Brown, Colo. of the Beaufort Militia"
And I believe that Dennis, the member of the Donelson Party at the Nashborough settlement of 1781, was in tidewater NC earlier than 1775. That is an inference from the evidence that he was in Kentucky in 1775 with other members of the group of adventurers who formed around Judge Henderson, the tidewater NC speculator who conceived the Transylvania scheme that led to the Nashborough settlement.
My guess is that your Elizabeth is the daughter of one of these Beaufort families. In the absence of other evidence, I'd suggest as the most likely possibility that she could belong to the family of John, who I believe to be the one who was a signer of the Cumberland Compact. His signature can be seen in the image on the TN Archives website:
http://www.state.tn.us/sos/statelib/techsvs/photos/compact4.htm
We know John did not stay in the settlement, as Dennis did, because he is not listed among either the dead or alive who received land from the 1783 NC grant for the settlement, as Dennis did. My construction of the records is that John returned to NC, where he is found in the census of 1790, with Dennis, and in 1810 as a man of 45+, near three younger men (Dennis, William, and James) who are men of the generation of your Elizabeth. John appears to be the progenitor of the family of Condrys who stayed in the tidewater. Dennis and William, as you can see from the many postings on the surname forum, settled in East Tennessee, where there are numerous records of their activities.
Elizabeth is a common Condry name, of course (my ggm was an Elizabeth Condry, descended from old William the Indian Spy, my 4ggf, through William's son Dennis and Dennis's son Lilburn). So it won't be easy to find proof of her parentage even if you find an Elizabeth mentioned in contemporary tidewater NC records. So far, I have not found a record of her.
Good luck. I'll keep an eye out for more.
