    Isaac Barnes was born 12 August 1829 in TN -- his death occurred 10 June 1915 in Irving College, Warren County TN. He married 1st to Susannah Elinor Hill on 21 May 1853 in Warren Co Tn. She was born 31 Jul 1834 in TN and died 11 Jul 1879 in Warren Co TN. Secondly Isaac then was married to Mary Ann Bess on May 9th 1880 in Warren County. She was born 19 April 1851 and died 17 January 1923. Both are buried at Barnes Cemeetery (Big Sink) in Warren Co TN.

    He was the son of Charles and Susannah (Smith) Barnes and the grandson of William Barnes.

    Isaac fought for the Confederate Army in the Civil War -- 2 Lt. Co. D 35 Tenn. Inf.
