I am going though my line of the large Cantrell family, updating and gathering more info than what I currently have, and then in search of whatever proof I can possibly find with my limited resources.
I have Berry Young Cantrell, Born 18 Jul 1891 in DeKalb County Tennessee to Parents David A. Cantrell [ My GG Grandfather ] and Mary Virginia Childress. As far as I know he was married twice, though I can only currently prove one of his two marriages. His first marriage was to Mary Fuson.
I have a copy of the Tennessee Marriage record which states they were married on 5 July 1917 in DeKalb County Tennessee.
I have not been able to find any children born to them, and wondering if there were children by him and first wife Mary.
I DO Know that Berry was listed in the 1900 and 1920 U.S Federal Census, living in the 9th district of DeKalb County Tennessee. His occupation in 1920 was as a laborer for an Ice Plant. He served during WW1, info taken off Ancestry and the WW1 Draft Registration Cards of 1917-1918.
I have seen another, on Ancestry that has him married also to Ara E. Farler, whom was born in 1893 to Parents Willam Henry Farler and Lucy F. Curtis in Tennessee, BUT there is no proof of record as to the marriage, so Though I Have the info I have not included it in my Genealogy file program.
If anyone can help as far as there being ANY Children, please let me know, I would appreciate the help and time, thanks.
