Leo Byars, 57, of 504 Elmdale, died Monday in the Springdale hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1914 at Reed, Okla., the son of William H. and Minnie Lou Barnes Byars, he was a driver for Jones Truck Lines and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Myrtha Morris Byars of the home; two sons, Donald Ray of Enterprise, Ala. and Gary Lynn of Omaha, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Venable of Springdale; one brother, Tildon of Montclair, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. M. F. Carter of Lowell and Mrs. Allen McClain of Springdale and eight grandchildren. [2]
